4.3 Default Settings
During power on initialization, the CT-5624S initializes all configuration attributes
to default values. It will then read the configuration profile from the Permanent
Storage section on the flash memory. The default attributes are overridden when
identical attributes with different values are configured. The configuration profile
in Permanent Storage can be created via the Web user interface, the console, or
telnet user interface, or other management protocols. The factory default
configuration can be restored either by pushing the reset button for more than
five seconds, or by clicking the Restore Default Configuration option in the
Restore Settings screen.
The following default settings are present when setting up the router for the first
time. The PC running the browser can be attached to the Ethernet.
