APPLICATIONS
WARNING
• Adequately protect the moving parts with suitable guards.
• The motor pump must operate without exceeding pressure and rotation speed limits as shown on the identification
plate (12).
The pump applications must be made following good mechanical engineering practices. The Manufacturer’s
After-Sales Service is at the disposal of the
Skilled Technician
to provide all necessary information.
HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
WARNING
• The suction and bypass pipes must have an internal diameter equal to the outer diameter of the suction and
bypass fittings respectively, and a nominal pressure of 10 bar (145 psi) and
must not be affected by blockages
of any kind
.
• The delivery pipes must have an internal diameter equal to the outer diameter of the delivery fittings and a
nominal pressure not below max pump pressure.
• All the pipes must be firmly fastened with clamps to the respective fittings.
For the hydraulic suction, delivery and bypass connections, refer to the following table and to Fig. 12, which
represents a generic diagram of a possible machine integrating the motor pump.

In particular, the suction circuit must be sized so as not to determine on the motor pump suction fitting:
- a pressure higher than 0.1 bar/1.45 psi (8 bar/116 psi for MTP YA 65);
- a vacuum higher than 0.25 bar/3.63 psi (0.3 bar/4.35 psi for MTP YA 65).
Except for the MTP MC 8, MTP MC 18, MTP MC 20/20 and MTP MC 25, suction vacuums up to max
0.45 bar/6.53 psi (0.5 bar/7.25 psi) are only acceptable for operating periods of 10÷15 minutes.
• At motor pump suction, a filter of adequate dimensions must be fitted. In case of doubts, contact the
Manufacturer.
• Do not supply the motor pump with liquids at a temperature above 40 °C/104 °F (60 °C/140 °F for
MTP YA 65) or below 5 °C/41 °F.
