paragraph, meaning
without any moving parts, no pipe full of liquid under pressure and only after
complete cooling.
In particular, always remember to disconnect the power supply or disconnect the spark plug contact.
• Any maintenance jobs must be performed in conditions of total stability.
•
WARNING.
To ensure the safety of the motor pump, only use original spare parts supplied by the Manufacturer
or approved by it.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Perform the routine maintenance jobs shown in the manual of the machine in which the motor pump is
integrated and in that of any combustion engine equipping the machine; unless otherwise indicated, in
relation to the motor pump, remember the following.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
JOB
After every use
• Check pump oil according to instructions in
“p
relImInary
actIvItIes
”
paragraph.
• Check and if necessary clean the suction filter.
• Check any power cable, high-pressure pipes, clamp tightness and correct fitting
of hooks (8).
In the event of one or more parts being damaged, do not use the machine and
contact a
Skilled Technician
.
Every 50 hours
• Oil and grease the rotating or sliding parts accessible to the operator.
• Check the inflation pressure of the accumulator (9) (if any).
• Check the integrity of the suction circuit.
• Check the fastening of the motor pump to the structure of the machine in which
it is integrated.
In the event of such fastening being precarious, do not use the machine and
contact a
Skilled Technician
(1)
.
(1) Checks must be made more frequently if the motor pump operates where there are strong vibrations
DIAPHRAGM BREAKAGE (NOT FOR MTP YA 65)
The breakage of one or more diaphragms can cause aggression on the mechanical part of the pump by the
pumped liquids.
The following are symptoms of possible diaphragm breakage:
• whitish colour of the oil (symptom of water in oil);
• excessive oil consumption;
• sudden disappearance of oil from positive-displacement compensator.
CAUTION
• To avoid the negative consequences of such a fault, use of the machine must be immediately stopped and a
Skilled Technician
must be straight away contacted (within 24 hours) to carry out the necessary inspections.
If, in the case of an evident diaphragm breakage, a
Skilled Technician
cannot be contacted straight away, it
is best to empty the mix of oil and pumped liquid from the pan and fill it with oil or diesel fuel, to prevent
oxidisation.
• The following often cause diaphragm breakage:
- blockages in the suction circuit (pipes of inadequate diameter, very dirty filter, pumping of very dense
liquids, etc.);
- use of highly aggressive chemical products.
