1. Connect a PC to Port 1 on the Base Unit.
2. Open Firefox and enter the web interface.
3. Select
SERVICE > Modem
.
4. Under
Modem
access
click the link.
You now get access to the web interface of the built-in iDirect modem.
5. Type in the user name and password (default: user name
admin
and password
iDirect
).
6. In the menu
Commissioning
click
One Touch Commissioning
.
7. Click
Start
. One Touch Commissioning begins. When commissioning is completed the
antenna will search for the I-5 satellite with the highest elevation.
8. When the antenna finds the satellite the modem will perform the necessary steps to
enter the network (software upgrades, if available).
9. The iDirect modem will indicate the modem status in the dashboard of the Base Unit
web interface (
Modem
section) as well as in the display menu
MODEM
of the Base
Unit.
10.When commissioning is completed, test all subscribed services.
11.Exit the iDirect web interface.
Important
Use the Internet browser Firefox to access the iDirect Modem web interface.
