IDENTIFYING THE NEW PEDAL GROUP (FIGURE 1).
The new pedal group was incorporated 02/06/95 (Serial No. 445799 and
greater) on electric vehicles, and on 02/07/95 (Serial No. 445519 and
greater) on gasoline powered vehicles.The new pedal group differs from
the old style in the following ways:
1. On all vehicles, the accelerator pedal extension spring has been replaced
by a compression spring.
2. On all vehicles, the pivot rod supports are now injection molded with
replaceable composite bearings.
3. On electronic controller (PowerDrive System 48) vehicles, the multi-step
potentiometer has been replaced by a continuously variable potentiometer.
4. New adjustment procedures are as follows:
