3.10.3 Full On/Full Off Contrast
Procedure
1. Display the Full White pattern.
2. Use a light meter to measure the brightness values of full white pattern P5
3. Display the Full Black pattern.
4. Use a light meter to measure the brightness values of full black pattern B5.
5. Use the contrast formula to calculate the contrast values.
• Contrast Formula: P5/B5.
NOTE:
P5=center of white image and B5=center of black image.
Criteria
Dynamic Aperture Enabled: Full white to full dark contrast ratio--> 5000:1.
3.10.4 Uniformity
Procedure
1. Display the Full White pattern.
2. Use a light meter to measure the brightness values of P1 to P13 (see Full white pattern image).
