3. Disconnect harness (Fan 11) from Connector-B Board.
4. Remove Color Wheel fan shield (2 screws). See Figure 5-15 .
5. Remove harness cable from retaining clips.
6. Remove screws (2). See Figure 5-15 .
7. Remove Color Wheel Fan.
8. Install new fan.
9. Connect harness (Fan 11 to Connector-B Board), and secure cable bundle with retaining clips.
5.2.14Rear Exhaust Fans
Replacement Time: 30 minutes
Procedure:
1. Remove Top Cover. See 5.2.5 Top Cover .
2. Remove Top Shield. See 5.2.7 Top Shield .
3. Disconnect harnesses (Fan 4 from Connector-B Board and Fan 10 from Connector-A Board).
4. Remove screws (2) securing frame to base plate. See Figure 5-16 .
5. Move top of frame towards center of projector to release it from the chassis and pull frame out.
