6.4 PIC FW Upgrade Procedure
This procedure upgrades the firmware that is resident on the projector’s LAN board, which provides the web
interface for the projector.
6.4.1 Equipment Needed
Software
• Christie ESeries Axxxx PIC FW LAN Update Wizard.exe
NOTE:
This file is extracted from Christie ESeries Cxxxx FW LAN Update Wizard.msi. “xxxx” is the version
number, Example C01.01 msi fle will contain the PIC FW A29.02 .exe file.
IMPORTANT!
The System FW upgrade (example C01.01) must be executed prior to this step as it loads the
PIC FW into the projector, ready for this step.
HARDWARE
• Projector
• Power Cord
• LAN Cable (RJ45)
• PC
NOTE:
The FW upgrade procedure uses DHD670-E as an example. The procedure is the same as for
DHD675-E, DWU675-E, DHD775-E and DWU775-E.
6.4.2 Firmware Upgrade Procedure
1. Double-click the Christie PIC FW LAN Update Wizard .
2. Click Next .
3. Power on the projector.
a. Connect the projector to AC power.
b. Turn the projector on.
c. Wait until the lamp(s) turn on and the source message is displayed on the bottom left of the projected
image.
