Section 5: Parts and Module Replacement
5. Remove Color Wheel Fan Top Shield (2 screws). See Figure 5-27 .
6. Remove Color Wheel Fan Base Plate with fan attached (1 screw) and flip the assembly to the side. See
Figure 5-28 .
7. Remove Optical Fan Assembly harness from the retaining clip.
8. Remove the screws (4) securing the Optical Fan using the 90 ° angle screwdriver.
9. Remove the Fan from the plastic frame. Note fan orientation before removing. See Figure 5-29 .
10. Install the new Fan. Make sure the fan is installed in the proper orientation.
