Ventilation and cooling

HS Series D13 Service Manual

7. Unplug the fan connector to the DC 12V power supply.

8. Remove the two M3 screws with a Phillips #1 screwdriver securing fan 8.

9. Remove the harnesses from the clips.

10. Separate the fan and fan bracket.

11. Replace the fan 8.

12. To re-install the fan modules, follow these steps in reverse order.

Replacing fan 11

The fan 11 provides the intake air cooling for the color wheel assemblies.
