differently. The 2nd-3rd speed hub and sleeve is
assembled with the fork slot in the sleeve toward
the thrust face of the hub. The 1st- reverse hub and
sleeve is assembled with the fork slot in the sleeve
opposite the thrust face (fig. 4G).
CAUTION:
Be sure the notches o f the blocker
ring align with the keys of the syncrhonizer
assembly.
4. Install synchronizer hub to mainshaft snap ring.
Both synchronizer snap rings are identical.
Turn the rear of the mainshaft upward. Install the
following components on the mainshaft:
5. Install the first speed gear with clutching teeth
upward; the front face of the gear will butt against
the flange on the mainshaft.
