16. Remove shaft to case thrust washer from rear of
output shaft or inside case.
17. Place gear unit assembly, with output shaft facing
down through hole in work bench.
18. Remove rear unit selective washer from transmis­
sion case (fig. 37T).
19. Remove center support to case spacer (fig. 37T-A).
20. Remove rear band assembly (fig. 38T).
