Low engine oil pressure alarm
lamp
The indicator lamp will flash when the
ignition switch turns on and it will be off
after the engine started. If the lamp is not
off after the engine started or flashes in
driving, stop the vehicle immediately and
check the engine oil level with the engine
stopped.
The lamp flashes for warning when the oil
pressure is lower than normal value and
the engine rotation is lower than normal
r.p.m.
The lamp flashes and the buzzer buzzes
for warning when oil pressure is lower
than normal value and the engine rotation
is higher than normal rotation.
Refill the engine oil immediately if the oil
level is too low.
Battery charge indictor lamp
The lamp will be on when the ignition
switch turns on and off after the engine
started up.
The vehicle shall be stopped at once if the
lamp is not off or lights in driving. Stop
the engine and check the generator belt.
If the generator belt is proper, you shall
drive to the nearest Chery’s special service
station to have the vehicle checked
immediately. The battery will discharge
continuously in driving, so all unnecessary
electrical appliances includ ing A/C system
shall be shut down.
If the generator belt has damaged, DO
NOT drive continuously and ask
professional personnel to repair.
Coolant temperature/level
alarm lamp
The lamp shall lights for several seconds
and off after the ignition switch turns on.
If the lamp is not off of flashes during
driving due to the coolant temperature
overhigh or level too low with the buzzer
warning, the vehicle must be stopped
immediately and shut down the engine,
check the coolant level and refill coolant
as required.
Please get to Chery’s special
service station to have it checked if
the engine oil consumes too fast.
Be aware of scald! The
cooling system is under the state of
high temperature and high pressure
when the engine is working.
Therefore, make sure to op en the
radiator cover after the engine is
completely cooled. Never touch
radiator fan.
