Warning Device
Warning device is used for indicating the
running state of vehicle and the vehicle
whether has problems that may lead to
serious damage or injury to the driver. If
any system of the vehicle appears
functional defect, the corresponding alarm
lamp shall be on or flash.
M ost alarm lamps shall light shortly for
systemic self-inspection when the ignition
switch turns on. If an alarm lamp does not
light, or an alarm lamp still lights or
flashes after the engine started, please get
to Chery’s special service station to have
related system checked and repaired
immediately.
Low Fuel Leve l Alarm Lamp
When the fuel in the fuel tank is less than
10L, the lamp lights for warning and the
fuel gauge hand will point to red warning
line.
Please refill fuel as soon as possible when
the alarm lamp is on.
ABS defect alarm lamp
The lamp will light shortly when the
ignition switch turns on and the ABS
system will carry on self-inspection to
ensure the system whether can work
normally. If the lamp is constantly on or
flashes after the ignition switch turned on
or during driving, it means ABS system
having defects, but the vehicle still has
general braking function (without ABS) ,
unless the braking system alarm lamp
lights as well. You shall go to the Chery’s
special service station for check and repair
as soon as possible. Carefully driving is
required to avoid high speed driving.
Important notes related to the use of ABS
system, please refer to the chapter of
“Braking”.
Parking brake alarm lamp
The lamp only functions with the ignition
switch on.
The lamp keeps lighting as the hand brake
working.
