6 Capturing Images
Requesting the Deselection of a Patient
When two or more users select the same patient, and when a user who selects the
patient later captures images of the patient’s eye, he/she can request the user who
selected the patient first to deselect the patient.

Select a patient in the patient list, and click the [OCT Capture] tab.
The [This patient is used on other station(s).] screen appears.
At the same time, a message requesting the deselection of the patient appears for the
user who selected the patient first and is viewing the patient data.

Click [OK].

Make sure that the user who is viewing the patient data has
deselected the patient.
Request the user who is viewing the patient data to deselect the patient according to
the request message.

Click the [OCT Capture] tab.
Information
If the user who is viewing the patient data cannot deselect the patient because he/
she is unavailable, click [Try to release this patient]. The patient whose data is being
viewed is deselected. However, while the user who is viewing the patient data is
enlarging the image, the patient cannot be deselected.
