Sharing Tab
Use this tab to designate whether or not the printer is shared with other clients through a net-
work. It can be opened by clicking on the Sharing tab in the Properties dialog box.
The sharing tab is shown in Figure 1-7-10.

(1) Not shared :
Keep this check box on if you want to use this printer as a local printer.
(2) Shared :
Keep this check box on if you want to use this printer as a network printer.
(3) Share Name :
Available only when the Shared option button is selected. Change the net-
work printer name appearing in the box if necessary.
(4) Alternate Drivers :
Enables you to install drivers of different version or with different CPU
as an alternate driver. As this printer does not support Alternate Driver, do not select the
alternate drivers in this list box.
