2 Unpacking and Installation
2.1 Before Starting the Work
Keep the following in mind for the work:
1. If the machine is brought in from a cold to warm place, its pickup/feed-
ing assembly can develop condensation, leading to image faults. Leave
the machine alone for at least one hour, and start the work after the ma-
chine has become used to the room temperature.
The term condensation refers to the symptom that occurs when a piece of
metal is brought in from a cold to warm place, cooling the vapor in the
air rapidly and turning it into droplets of water on the metal surface.
2. The machine weighs about 80 kg. Be sure to work in a group of four.
