Receiving Faxes While Performing Other Tasks
Since the machine is a multitasking device, it can receive faxes while you are
performing other tasks.
•
If you receive a fax while you are performing certain tasks, the machine stores the
incoming fax in memory. Then, as soon as you finish your task, the machine
automatically prints the fax. You can receive a fax while performing the following
tasks:
- Printing
- Scanning to send a fax*
- Printing reports or lists
- Copying
* Starts printing the received documents as soon as the machine receives it, while performing this task.

You cannot receive a fax while performing memory sending.
