Media Server: Viewing Photos on a Connected Wi-Fi Device
After connecting the optional WFT-E6 Wireless File Transmitter and completing the registration of a Wi-Fi access
point, you can use the camera’s Media Server function to wirelessly access the photos on the SD card in the
camera from a connected Wi-Fi device. Refer also to the instruction manuals for the computer/device, software
and access point used.
Preparations
To be able to access the camera remotely via Wi-Fi, you will need to attach an optional WFT-E6 Wireless File
Transmitter to the camera’s system extension terminal, complete the Wi-Fi network setup, and select an access
point (infrastructure connection). Download the ‘WFT-E6: Guide for EOS C300 Mark II Users’ (PDF file) from your
local Canon Web site and follow the instructions to complete the necessary steps.
1 Camera: Open the [Media Server] submenu and then press SET to activate the function.

2 Connected device: Start your preferred media player software/application and select the camera’s
model name from the list of media servers.
3 Connected device: Select the folder corresponding to the camera’s SD card and play back the
photos.
4 Camera: When you have finished playing back, press SET to end the media server mode.
