5. The Printers dialog box appears, asking whether you would like to set up the printer.
6. Select Yes to install the PostScript printer driver and printer description file for the
selected connection.
Setting up IPP printing with Windows 2000
With Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), print jobs are sent to the ColorPASS over the
Internet.

The IPP setup procedures are performed after installing the appropriate printer
drivers (see “To install the PostScript printer driver for Windows 2000:” on page 21).

:
IPP printing is not supported on Windows NT.

EFORE YOU BEGIN
:
1. Prepare the ColorPASS for TCP/IP printing.
2. Make sure the ColorPASS is configured for IPP printing in Network Setup > Service
Setup > IPP Setup. For more information, see the Configuration Guide.
3. Specify the printing destination on your computer. See the following procedure.

1. Click the Start button, choose Settings, and then choose Printers.
2. Double-click the Add Printer icon and click Next.
3. Select Network printer and click Next.
