Integer Read-Write
The base address of the memory region to be examined or modified.
debugLength {debugEntry 4}
Integer Read-Write
The desired length, in words, of the memory region to be examined or modified.
After the ATX performs the operation, debugLength is updated to indicate the
length of memory that was actually examined or modified. If debugLength is
updated to contain zero, then the module was not operational.
debugData {debugEntry 5}
Octet String Read-Write
A series of 0-64 octets, which represents 0-16 words (this may change in the
future, if the ATX has processors with word sizes of other than 4 bytes per word).
When this variable is read, the ATX uses the values in debugBase and
debugLength to return the contents of a specified memory range to the NMS.
Similarly, when this variable is written, a specified area of memory will be
overwritten with data supplied by the NMS.
10.3.13 Loopback Command Group

The NMS may initiate/terminate local or remote loopback on a port. In local
loopback, the port is disconnected from its network. The ATX generates
loopback packets for the port, and the port loops back packets without sending
them onto its network.
In remote loopback, the port is in normal operation, sending/receiving normal
packets. In addition, the ATX generates loopback packets to be sent out the port
to a particular destination device on the port’s network. That destination device
echoes the packet back onto the network, which the port then receives. For ports
in remote loopback, the ATX creates LLC Type 1 Test packets for LANs, and
PPP Echo Request packets for WANs and UARTs.
To put a port into local loopback, the NMS must perform the following steps
Step 1. Set the lpbkPktLength, lpbkPktNum, lpbkIncrements, lpbkInterval, and
lpbkOperation parameters with a single SetRequest PDU, making sure
that lpbkOperation is the last parameter. The value loopback-local must
be specified for lpbkOperation, and the previous value for lpbkOpera-
tion must not be loopback-remote.
