sipxIfIndex {sipxIfEntry 1}
Integer Read-Only
Identifies the interface (port) to which this entry’s information belongs. The value
of this variable corresponds to ifIndex, as well as to most of the other port
identification values in related MIBs.
sipxIfNetwork {sipxIfEntry 2}
OctetString Read-Write
The IPX network number (four bytes) associated with this interface.
sipxIfFraming {sipxIfEntry 3}
Integer Read-Write
Defines the link-level framing to be used for this interface. Options Include:
• ethernet8023 (1) - framing uses an 802.3 length followed by the IPX header
and data (the first 2 bytes of the IPX header are hexadecimal ffff). This is the
default for Ethernet links.
• ethernet2 (2) - framing uses an Ethernet type of hexadecimal 8137, followed
by the IPX data.
• ieee8022 (3) - framing uses DSAP and LSAP fields of hexadecimal e0
followed by a control byte of 03 (unnumbered information), followed by the
IPX data. This is the default for non-Ethernet links (Ethernet links precede the
SAPs with an Ethernet length).
• snap (4) - framing uses standard SNAP encapsulation of the 8137 Ethernet
type, followed by the IPX data.
• rawfddi (5) - framing uses an FDDI MAC header followed immediately by
the IPX header. There are neither LLC nor SNAP headers.
• ppp (6) - the IPX packet is encapsulated over the PPP protocol, for use over a
wide-area network.

Counter Read-Only
Number of IPX routing information protocol packets received on this interface.
sipxIfOutRipPkts {sipxIfEntry 5}
Counter Read-Only
Number of IPX routing information protocol packets transmitted on this
interface.
