Octet String Write-Ignore
A series of 0-700 octets, which represents 0-100 addresses. Each address consists
of a 6 octet MAC Address followed by a 1 byte port number. If the port number is
zero, then the address is that of a specially configured address; otherwise, the
address is a dynamically learned address. This parameter is only used for
dumping blocks of MAC addresses.

MAC Address Read-Only
The MAC address for an address entry. This parameter is only used by the unit’s
enterprise specific trap mechanism.
addrAlarmPort {addr 55}
Integer Write-Ignore
The repeater port through which this address is connected to the port indicated by
addrPort. This parameter is only valid if the port’s srepeaterExtendedStats is
enabled, and if the unit’s ppeExtendStats is true.
10.3.6 SNMP/SMT Support Group
snmpsmt {ecs-1 6}
This parameter group supplies the NMS with a way to access FDDI devices that
support SMT services, but not SNMP services. The NMS requests a unit (which
must be on the FDDI ring) to perform an SMT query/response exchange with the
desired FDDI device.
To build an FDDI ringmap, the NMS should read the upstream neighbor
parameter from a unit. Then the NMS should ask the unit to determine the
upstream neighbor of FDDI device “x”, where “x” is the unit’s upstream
neighbor. Next, the NMS should ask the unit to determine the upstream neighbor
of FDDI device “y”, where “y” is the upstream neighbor of device “x”. The NMS
should continue this process, until a full circle has been determined, i.e., the
determined upstream neighbor is the MAC address of the original unit.
