Integer Read-Only
A unique value for each SMT. It represents the sequence number of the FDDI
board in the unit.
fddismtUpstreamReq {fddismtEntry 2}
MacAddress Read-Write
When this variable is written, the unit converts it into a big-endian FDDI address
and issues an SMT NIF request to determine that address’s upstream neighbor.
When the NIF response is received, snmpsmtUpstreamRsp will hold the address
of the upstream neighbor and a trap will be sent to the NMS.
fddismtUpstreamRsp {fddismtEntry 3}
MacAddress Read-Only
The address of the upstream neighbor of the unit whose address was written into
snmpsmtUpstreamReq. If the address has not yet been learned, then an address of
all zeroes is returned.
fddismtUpstreamDescriptor {fddismtEntry 4}
Octet String Read-Only
A four byte string containing the upstream neighbor’s Station Descriptor
parameter, as defined by the SMT frame protocols. If the upstream neighbor has
not yet been learned then a string of all zeroes is returned.
