Receiving an external call during an
internal call
If an external call comes in while the handset is on internal
call, the
External call
symbol blinks and a series of short
beeps sounded in the earpiece. The CID of the caller is
displayed if you have subscribed to the Caller ID service.
Press
Talk
to hang up the internal call.
Press
Talk
again to answer the external call.
Enquiry call
While talking on an external call, the handset can put the
external call on hold and make an enquiry call to another
handset. The handset can then toggle between the external
call and the other handset.
While the external call is on hold, a tone is emitted to the
external party to indicate that the call is on hold.
To make an enquiry call carry out the following:
During an external call, press
INT
.

Note: During an internal call, if an external call
comes through, you will hear short beeps. and
the EXT symbol on handset will blink.

The external call will be put on hold and internal dialing
tone can be heard from the earpiece or speaker.
The
Intercom
symbol is displayed in addition to the
External call
and
Talk
symbols.
Press the number of the handset you wish to call.
If there is no reply, press
INT
again to reconnect to the
external call and the other handset will stop ringing.
Press
INT
again to make another call to the other handset.
When the other handset answers the call, the two
handsets can communicate while keeping the external call
on hold.
Press
INT
to toggle between the internal and external
calls.
Call transfer
You can transfer phone calls to other handsets registered
to the same base unit.
During an external call, press
INT
.
The external call will be put on hold and internal dialing
tone can be heard from the earpiece or speaker.
The
Intercom
symbol is displayed in addition to the
External call
and
Talk
symbols.
