If more than 16-digits are entered, the

symbol is
displayed to indicate the number is longer than 16-digits
and only the last 16-digits are displayed.
Handset keypad lock/unlock
You can lock the handset to prevent accidental operation
of any keys. When the keypad is locked, all keys will be
inactive except TALK when there is an incoming call.
To lock the handset keys
Press and hold
Keylock
during standby.
HOLD # is displayed.
To unlock the handset keys
Press and hold
Keylock
during standby.
HOLD # disappears from the display.

Note: When a call comes in, you can answer the
call by (1) Pressing TALK if the handset is not in
the base unit or (2) when AUTO ANS is ON lift
the handset from the base. End the call by
pressing TALK. The keypad remains locked.

Auto answering
When the Auto Answering function is activated, you are
able to answer a call by lifting the handset out of the base
cradle without having to press the Talk key.
