The handset earpiece and microphone are turned off and
the voice signals diverted to the headset.
Mute (Privacy)
During a call you can mute your voice so that you can
speak privately to a third party without the caller being
able to hear you. You will still be able to hear your caller.
During a call, press
Mute
.
The
symbol is displayed on the LCD. Your caller
cannot hear you.
Press
Mute
again to talk to your caller again.
The
symbol disappears from the display.
Find handset
If you misplace your handset press the FIND HANDSET
button on the base unit to relocate it. The handset rings for
30 seconds. The INT symbol and the prompt BS PAGING
blink on and off on the display. Press any key on the
handset to stop the paging tone sounding.

Alert tones
You can choose to turn on or off the following tones
according to your preferences.
Key beep:
This alert sounds a tone each time a key is pressed. For long
presses, there will be two tones: one upon key depression
and the other upon a long press being activated.
Confirmation tone:
This alert sounds a tone when a setting or a choice is
confirmed.
Charging:
This alert sounds two short duration tones when the
handset is returned to the base unit cradle for charging.

4 seconds, the phone enters registration
