To set an exempt number
Use
Scroll
to scroll until the LCD displays EXEMPT.
Press
OK
.
The LCD displays NUMBER? or the previously entered
exempt number.
Use the
Numeric
keys and
Cancel
to enter the telephone
number up to 18 digits.
Press
OK
to confirm the number entered. The feature is
activated.
Calls from the set number allow the phone to ring.
To set a number to be screened
Use
Scroll
to scroll until the display reads SCREEN.
Press
OK
.
The LCD displays NUMBER? or the previously entered
screened number.
Use the
Numeric
keys and
Cancel
to enter the telephone
number up to 18 digits.
Press
OK
to confirm the number entered. The feature is
activated. Calls from the set number are now diverted to
the answering machine.

Block the blocker
When the blocker feature is on, all incoming calls notified
as Private by the CID are answered immediately by the
answering machine if it is turned on. The caller can use the
SOS code to breakthrough and cause the base to ring for
eight seconds.
Press
Menu
to enter the menu mode.
Use
Scroll
to scroll through the menu until ANSWER MAC
is displayed.
Press
OK
.
Use
Scroll
to scroll until BLOCKER is displayed.
Press
OK
.
The current setting is displayed (ON or OFF).
Use
Scroll
to select ON or OFF.
Press
OK
to confirm the selection and exit to BLOCKER.

Note: If the SCREEN option of Screening, and the
BLOCKER feature are on, calls from the screened
numbers as well as those tagged private are
diverted to the answering machine.
