Selecting the outgoing message (OGM)
your callers will hear
The answering machine operates in two different modes,
‘Answer and Record’ or ‘Answer Only’. Each mode comes
with a pre-set outgoing message (OGM) that is played to
your callers. If you prefer, you can record your own OGM
for each mode, see page 2
6
.
• When the answering machine is in the Answer and
Record mode (ANS RECORD), the answering machine
invites the caller to leave a message after the
outgoing message (OGM1)is played:
“Hello. Your call cannot be taken at the
moment, so please leave your message and date
and time of your call, after the tone”.
• When the answering machine is in the Answer Only
mode (ANS ONLY), the answering machine drops the
call as soon as "outgoing message #2" (OGM2) has
finished playing:
“Hello. Your call cannot be taken at the
moment, and you cannot leave your message.
Please call later”.
When the memory of the answering machine is full, the
answering mode will automatically switch to ANS ONLY
mode from ANS RECORD mode.
