Mode
It defines the operating mode of the system when a defect is detected:
MONITOR:
Signals the error by means of a single or double flash of the red Led, without activating the
Stop output.
CONTROL:
Activates the Stop output and signals the error by means of a single or double flash of the red
Led.
1 red flash

(No twisting insufficient)
2 red flashes
=
TPX-H
(No twisting excessive)
The sensor keeps active the STOP output and the error signalling until the failure is reset
(either manually using the touch light or automatically, depending on Reset parameter setting).
D.filter
The IS3.. sensor features an internal digital filter to reduce the influence of natural yarn hairiness in the
twisting evaluation process
(TPX)
.
(It can be programmed with a value ranging from 1 [no influence] to 8 [max efficiency])

Normal Operation =
(the yarn runs normally and the number of twisting is within the
programmed range TPX MAX and TPX MIN)
Delay Control =
Delay programmable via software

Either Manual through
(Touch Light)
or Automatic if Reset Manual/Auto
parameter is set to Auto
Note:
When the sensor is de-activated, the STOP Output is always in Normal Operation condition
therefore, in case of NO configuration it will always be an open circuit.
