In case of large textile machines, you may install two SMART MATRIX TWIST terminals connected to each
other (
for instance at the two machine ends
), in order to give the operator the possibility to operate on
different machine points. The SM-DIN Boards and the sensors are physically connected to one terminal
(
Master
), while the second terminal (
Slave
) acts exclusively as a repeater.
The SLAVE terminal identification code must be equal to the MASTER terminal identification code + 1.
(
Example: MASTER code = 5 --> SLAVE code = 6
).
The MASTER – SLAVE connection must be carried out as shown on the following figure.
