IS3x/TTS Sensor Features

TPXmin
This function allows setting the minimum number of twisting, below which the system will generate an error.
(programmable as: 1 to 1000).
The number of twisting (X) can be referred to Meter (M) or Inch (I).
Time
This parameter allows you to adapt the sensor’s reaction to the characteristics of yarn being controlled. More
precisely, it defines the sensor reaction time prior to signal an error about the number of twists. It can be
programmed with a value ranging from 100 to 5000 ms
(100 increment from 100 to 1000 ms and 1000
increment from 1000 to 5000 ms). The error condition is signalled only if the error detection exceeds the
value set with this parameter.
Delay ctrl [s]
This is the sensor waiting time before starting the control process, namely the time needed to the machine to
reach the set speed
(Programmable as: 2 to 60 seconds).

Reset
This parameter indicates whether the sensor, after having detected a failure, must be reset manually or
automatically, providing that the error condition disappears.
If you choose the “Manual Reset” option, then to reset the sensor you will simply have to skim the sensor’s
optical area
(Touch Light) until the green led turns to green. If you keep your finger on the touch light for a
few seconds after the lighting of green led, then the sensor will be disabled (off) .
T.Off
This value allows you to mask the sensor reading when the: TB ( Balloon ) operating mode is selected. In
particular, the reading will be masked when the yarn is outside the sensor. The appropriate value must be
found during the system commissioning, according to the specific application.
Push button
It defines the Touch Light button operating mode:
LOCK: The button is enabled for the Automatic Numbering procedure only.
UNLOCK: The button is enabled not only for the Automatic Numbering procedure, but also for reset in
case of failure.
Doff.time[min]
This parameter represents the minimum working time requested after which a package will be counted by
the system. Packages with shorter working times are not counted, or better, they are counted as "false
doffing".
K factor
Twist division factor depending on the number of twisting yarns.
