Code control barring
00 Code control barring
The editing process can be performed for every phone
extension, thereby preventing people from making
international calls thus barring all area codes that start with
00
(international code).
The procedure only applies
to nations which use 00 as an
international area code.
The procedure is as follows:
• Pick up the handset;
•
enter

to lock;
• enter the remote control/
unlock password (if
unchanged, it is

);
• dial the extension to be locked
(from 01 to 08) e.g.:
05;
• press the
R
key;
wait for the Confirm tone;
• hang up.
Unbarring the 00 area code number
The procedure only applies to nations which use 00 as an
international area code.
