Putting someone on hold in an external
conversation and answering a second call
(corresponding change)
If during an external conversation an external or door-entry
call comes in, it will be possible to put the conversation on
hold and answer the second call.
As soon as the
call comes in:

there will be a “call
notification” tone in
the handset
• dial

to put the
speaker on hold and
answer the second
call
A) End the second call and resume the conversation
To do this, it is necessary to:
• hang up;
• wait for the tone;
• Pick up the handset to resume the external conversation
B) End the first conversation and resume the second call (only
if the second call is external)
To do this, it is necessary to:
• dial R2 to resume the first conversation;
• hang up and end the conversation;
• wait for the tone;
• Pick up the handset to resume the external conversation
C) Put the second conversation through to another telephone
• press the
R
key and dial the extension required;
• wait for the answer;
• hang up;
• when you hang up, the telephone rings; pick up the handset to
resume the first external conversation
