The standard switchboard programming (in other words, the
switchboard programming mode at the time of purchase)
can be edited by entering codes via internal telephones
(touch-tone) thus remaining stored until it is changed
again.
A code (password) prevents unauthorized people from
accessing the programming mode.
This chapter describes the most frequently used editing
procedures; for more information, see the installation
manual.
