Getting a call sent to the answering machine
It is possible to talk to a user who is leaving a message on
the answering machine:
•
when the answering
machine has started
to function;
•
pick up the phone
from where you want
to answer;
•
dial the extension
to which the
answering machine
is connected,
e.g.:
401;
•
you will be
communicating with
the person who
has activated the
answering machine.

The service is available if the extension (e.g. 401) has been
configured in answering machine mode (see Installation
manual).
The extension programmed in answering machine mode
operates as follows:
•
there is no ring during a general call,
•
it allows remote controlling from an external telephone
line (see “Remote control procedure with answering
machine enabled”).
The interception of the call cannot occur from the telephone (if
present) connected to the same extension where the answering
machine is installed (e.g. 401).
