Room monitoring
The telephone switchboard allows for sound control of
the environments (Room Monitor) by using the handset
as a microphone in the room to be checked (e.g. 403).

Activation
• Pick up the handset;
• dial 920;
• wait for the confirm tone;
• leave the handset off the
hook and position it so that
it can pick up the sounds
in the room.

Listening
• Pick up the handset of
a telephone of the same
division;
• dial the extension activated
for the audio check
(e.g.
403
);
• it is now possible
to listen to what is
happening in the
other room.

When the power returns after a
black-out, the telephone keeps
monitoring the environment until the
handset is placed back on hook.
