Installing a
collimator

To install an alternate collimator –

Step

Action

Ensure that the instrument is powered off.

Using the provided 0.050 inch hex
screwdriver, open the collimator hatch located
on the side of the instrument nose. Do not
allow debris to get inside the hatch area.

Using a thumbnail on the lip of the currently
installed collimator, slide it out. It may be
tight.

Line up the new collimator with the groove
inside the hatch and slide it in until it clicks.
Again, do not allow debris inside.

Securely close the hatch and screw it shut.
