The axis toolbar manipulates the spectrum display to better view details.
To display it

Option
Description
X+
Stretches the x-axis (keV) scale to zoom in on the spectrum. To view the entire
spectrum, tap and drag horizontally.
X-
Compresses the x-axis (keV) scale to zoom out from the spectrum.
X0
Re-centers and returns the spectrum to the original x-axis scale.
Cent.
Re-centers the spectrum on both the x- and y-axes.
Y+
Stretches the y-axis (count rate) scale.
Y-
Compresses the y-axis (count rate) scale.
Y0
Returns the spectrum to the original scale along the y-axis.
Def.
Restores the spectrum to its default setting; the spectrum is re-centered and the
original scale along both axes is restored.
