INSTALLATION WORK 

Install the unit parts of the starter kit into the printer according to the following 

procedures: 

 

 3.1 

Install the Toner Cartridge PU 

 

CAUTION 

Make sure to remove the shipping support and cover of the toner cartridge prior to 
starting the installation of the belt cartridge PU. Otherwise, the belt cartridge PU may 
break down. 

 
1)     Open the front cover. 
2)     Remove the shipping support. 
3)  Remove each toner cartridge PU 
4)  Remove the shipping protect cover. In this instance, remove the tape attached 

around the shipping cover. 

5)  Install each toner cartridge to the printer. 
6)  Close the front cover PU.

Remove the protective cover.

Open the front door of the printer.

CAUTION

 

• 

Do not push hard nor pound the toner cartridge. It may be the cause of toner 
leakage. 

• 

Do not lay the toner cartridge in the landscape or portrait orientation. Otherwise, the 
toner powder leans to one side, which may be a cause of the print quality failure.
