Sequence of Assembling

1) Remove the belt tension-release pins from both sides of the new OPC charge

roller PU.

2) Remove the protective sheet from the new OPC charge roller PU. Do not touch

the green part of the OPC charge roller PU.

3) Put the new OPC charge roller PU into the printer guides with the flat side facing

you.

4) To lock the OPC charge roller PU into the printer, push the lock lever BC that

are on both sides of the OPC charge roller PU outwards.

5)  Close the top cover PU.
6)  Turn the printer power switch back on.
7)  Press any of the MENU buttons to take the printer off line.
8)  Press + or – until “RESET MENU” appears.
9)  Press Set to proceed to the next menu level, and then press + or – until “PARTS

LIFE” appears.

10) Press Set, and then press + until “OPC BELT” appears.
11) Press Set. The printer is now in the “READY” state.
