Send a Fax Manually

Manual fax transmission lets you hear the dialling, ringing and fax-receiving tones while sending a fax.

1. Load your document.
2. Press ( FAX ).
3. Press Hook and listen for a dial tone.
4. Enter the fax number.
5. When you hear fax tones, press
Mono Start .
• If you are using the scanner glass, press
a
to send the fax.

To send a fax manually, do the following:
Load your document. To listen for a dial tone, pick up the handset of the external telephone. Dial the fax number
using the external telephone. When you hear fax tones, press
Mono Start . If you are using the scanner glass,
press
c
to send a fax.. Replace the handset of the external phone.
