Chapter 6 Knife replacement

BAS-6150

2. Upper thread trimming knife

Turn off the power switch after the air cock
is closed and air pressure is confirmed to
be [0].

Detach the upper thread trimmer device by
loosening setscrew

and pull down the

device.

Unscrew bolt

Detach fixed knife

, moving knife

upper knife guide

, and thread retention

plate

by pulling upper knife guide

forward or backward.

* For attachment after replacement, follow

above steps the other way around from 4
to 1.
