4.6 Magnet rack - cleaning
Remove the magnet rack as described in section
4.3. ‘Magnet rack - removal’ on page 43
.
Then disassemble the magnet rack as described in section
4.4. ‘Magnet rack - disassembly, step by
step’ on page 44
.
Now use a damp cloth moistened with cleaning alcohol to wipe off the surfaces as described in the
figure below:

the magnets
The support list
The iron pieces in
the long pivot arms
At the back of the long
pivot arms
Note! Never oil, grease or lubricate any of the moving parts on a magnet rack!
This will only attract paper dust and cause clogging.
