Lubricant
After starting a warm or cold engine and before
applying a load or setting off, allow the engine to
idle for an adequate period of time. This allows the
lubricant to flow to all important engine parts, so as
to reduce unnecessary wear and tear to increase the
service life. It will also help the engine to warm-up
sufficiently.
First Service
The first 300km is the most important period in the
life of your motorcycle and the first service is also
the most important. During the running in period, all
engine parts are run in and other parts are properly
engaged. After this period, all parts must me adjusted
and all fasteners tightened.
Servicing your motorcycle after the first 1000 km
can ensure a long engine life and the best engine
performance.
Caution
The 300km service must be carried out according
to the “Troubleshooting” instructions in the
manual. Pay special attention to the “Caution” and
“Warning” sections.
