Brake fluid
Warning
The accidental consumption of brake fluid, or any
contact with the eyes or skin can be dangerous.
If this occurs, wash with clear water and go to the
nearest hospital.
Caution
The motorcycle uses ethanol series hydraulic oil. It
should not be mixed with silicate or petroleum fluid
or the brake system may be seriously damaged.
Never use unpacked fluid or any fluid left over from
the previous maintenance as there may be excess
moisture in the old fluid. Only use SAE J1703 brake
fluid.
Caution
To prevent corrosion, do not splash hydraulic oil on
any painted or plastic surface.
Check the fluid level in the brake fluid tank.
Replenish with the specified hydraulic fluid if the
level is low.
