Caution
The engine oil dip stick shows the oil level. When
the oil level is low, never start the engine. Add oil
until the level is just below the upper limit of the oil
window.
Replacing engine oil and oil Filter
Replace the engine oil and the oil filter after the first
300 km and for every 3,000 km driven thereafter.
Oil should be replaced while the engine is still warm, so
as to thoroughly drain the old oil from the engine. Use
the following method:
1. Park the motorcycle using the central stand.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
3. Remove the drain plug from the strainer cover to
drain the oil.
4. Tighten the oil drain ring and pour approximately
950 ml of fresh engine oil into the oil filter, before
gently tightening the top cover.
5. Start the engine and allow it to idle for several
seconds.
6. Turn off the engine and wait for a minute before
checking the oil level with the engine oil dip stick.
The oil should be kept on the “F” (full) line. If the
oil level is below the “F” line, add more oil until it
reaches the “F” line.
