Channel Dialog Box

9.1.1 

Application

The channel dialog box serves for 2 purposes:
●

Switching between operation and display channels

●

Displaying the selected channel information of all the channels of a control

system (channel overview).

Channels that have been hidden using the configuration are not shown.

Channel dialog box in the user interface

The Channel dialog box is an application with its own F-key assignment.
The menu and the title line are hidden.
The Channel dialog box is retrieved by pressing the <OP6> "system" key.
The M-keys act as "global M-keys" on the channel that is displayed in the ma‐

chine status area (active channel).

9.1.2 

General Structure of the Channel Dialog Box

Depending on the number of channels, 2 types of display are possible.
If more channels exist than can be displayed in the default setting, a compact

display is also offered.
