Retrieving the Variables List Editor
Any existing variables list can be opened in operating mode "Program OP4"
using the MTX Navigator or directly from a variables list editor that has already
been started.
To open a variables list from the MTX Navigator:
1.
Retrieve the MTX Navigator in operating mode "Program OP4".
2.
Open the desired variables list (file extension .var) as follows:

Double-click the list name using the mouse.

Select the list name and then press functional key <F6> "Edit".
– or –
●
Select the list name and use the context menu to select menu item
"Edit".
– or –
●
Select the list name and then press <Enter>.
The selected variables list is opened in the variables list editor.
To open an existing variable list from a variables list editor that has already
been started:
1.
Press functional key <F8> to switch to the second F-key level and press
<F2> "File..." to switch to the file functions.
2.
Press the <F3> "Open..." key.
A dialog box opens in which the desired variables list can be selected.
3.
Acknowledge the selection of the variables list by pressing the "Ok" button.
Another variables list editor with the selected variables list opens.
