Overview of Access Easy Controller™
The Access Easy Controller is a modularly designed access control system. It consists of main
CPU Card and from one to four Card Reader Controller cards and/or Input-Output cards. With
a full configuration of our Card reader controller cards and four Input-Output cards, a fully
configured Access Easy Controller can support up to 16 cards readers, 32 alarm type input
points and 32 controllable output points. In its minimum configuration, a Access Easy Con-
troller will support four card readers, plus all necessary supporting hardware (door lock/strike
outputs, door contact inputs and request-to-exit inputs).
Based on hardware configuration and database setup, Access Easy Controller offers the cus-
tomer feature and functions often available only with high-end access control controllers.

Since the Access Easy Controller can support such wide range of applications, it is necessary
for one to understand how to configure it and select the necessary hardware, such as card
readers or additional I/O Cards.
Unlike almost all other access control controllers, no special software is needed on a host
computer. The software needed to program and operate the Access Easy Controller is built
into the controller. Data entry and system monitoring functions are performed by connecting
to the controller with a standard Web browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft's
Internet Explorer. All database management screens are presented in simple, easy to use
HTML format in much the same manner as screen presentations from almost any Internet Web
site.
For information on using the data entry and monitoring screens, refer to the
Access Easy Con-
troller Software User's Manual
